Job Description
KTVT-TV the CBS O&O station in Dallas/Fort Worth has an immediate opening for a Part-time News Writer/Fill-in Producer. We are looking for a strong writer/fill-in producer with a passion for story-telling. Responsible for writing for newscasts, story placement, teases, graphics, social media and writing for the web, timing and all other editorial and production elements. Contribute story ideas and participate actively in coverage decisions and editorial meetings. Will fill-in for newscast producer as well.
Required Skills/Experience
Must have 3 to 4 years medium to major market producing experience. Four-year college degree and knowledge of the DFW area preferred.
