About Hitachi, Ltd.
Location: National - can be based anywhere in US, but preferably near one of our offices.
Required
5+ years of deep experience as an ETL developer well-versed in ETL tool usage, architecture, design and development
2+ years leading projects with both onshore and offshore resources
5! + years of experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Teradata, etc)
5+ years working on BI/DW projects
Ability to develop using an ETL tool (Informatica, Data Integrator, Ab Initio or Data Stage).
ETL architecture design experience within data warehousing environments governed by applying appropriate methodologies and ETL standards analytical skills
Strong client facing skills
Communication skills: excellent client interaction skills; strong presentation/ communication / facilitation skills (oral and written)
Responsibilities
Analyze business data requirements to produce relevant ETL architecture deliverables (source analysis, source to target maps, ETL flows)
Work with ETL developers and business analysts to develop source to target maps and identify transformation
Create or alter data integration blueprints and install, configure, and tune ETL infrastructure to sup! port the data warehousing solution
Develop ETL flows and frame! work to support ETL development
Technical Skills needed:
ETL architecture and relevant ETL tool development experience
Conceptual, logical and physical data modeling through use of a data modeling tool is a plu
Experience with technology in one or more of the following areas:
Travel
Regular and expeditious travel throughout the United States and occasionally overseas is required to meet client needs and timetables
Available to be stationed at and work from an out-of-town client site for an extended period of time
