The Facilities Coordinator I shall be responsible for taking work direction / guidance from other Facilities Coordinators in order to ass! ist the Facilities Team in efficient facilities operations.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for timely responses to all facility requests assigned by Facilities Coordinator(s) and providing follow-up and resolution within designated time frames.
Assist with office furniture moves to include artwork, chairs, name tags and files.
Assist with the distribution and tracking of building, desk and office keys
Partner with Facilities Coordinator(s) to manage security badge activation/de-activation and the creation of new security badges.
Perform minor repairs and maintenance to ensure efficient operations of site.
Partner with janitorial and other vendors as required ensuring a clean and safe site.
Assist in building safety checks and working with Maintenance Associate to provide resolution.
Partner with Property Management team to complete annual inventory project at assigned site.
Respons! ible for partnering with the mailroom to ship/receive and trac! k mail / packages.
Other Functions:
Special projects as requested
Performs other duties as assigned
Required Skills
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Prior experience in facility maintenance preferred
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills a must
Must be detail-oriented and customer-focused with high standards
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Time management skills with strong attention to details; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet assigned project deadlines in a timely manner.
Strong organizational, problem solving, and negotiation skills.
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Basic computer skills
Ability to walk and/or stand for more than one (1) to two (2) hours at a time.
Able to lift 50 lbs regula! rly
Working Conditions:
Overtime work may be required throughout the year
Shifts and/or schedules may change throughout the year as dictated by management and business needs
May be required to sit and review information on a computer screen for long periods of time
May require repetitive motions of the hands and wrist related to writing and typing at an electronic keyboard
