The primary role of the Housekeeper is to maintain a standard of cleanliness for the interior/exterior common areas in the community. Our Maintenance team is very customer service driven that creates a lasting influence on v! isitors, prospects, and residents.
Responsibilities Include:
Clean vacant unties for make-ready as scheduled and according to checklist
Clean office and leasing areas daily
Assist with morning preparation for leasing hospitality by making cookies, coffee, etc.
Ensure clean clubrooms, laundry areas, and amenities
Freshen models daily as directed
Clean guest apartments as directed
Cleaning windows and common furniture
Participate in special annual cleaning projects such as exterior window cleaning of office and clubroom, pool furniture cleaning, floor stripping, etc.
Completing assigned service requests
Maintaining inventory
Participating in safety meetings
Participating in monthly inspections
Participating in preventative maintenance
Communicating with customers
EDUCATION:
High School diploma or GED is preferred
! REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
Housekeeping or Janitorial exp! erience is preferred
Knowledge of on-site property maintenance is preferred
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
6 months experience in the janitorial field
Apartment housekeeping experience is preferred
SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Able to read service requests and schedules in English
Basic oral and written communication skills
Able to adhere to set and variable work schedule, including weekends and emergencies as required
Able to adhere to company policies, procedures, and practices
Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Able to professionally interact with customers, residents, and guests as needed
Own a valid driver's license with good driving record and current automobile insurance
Strong customer service orientation
Able to perform work responsibilities at locations other than "home" property
Able to travel within major metropoli! tan area and may be required to attend company functions in cities other than home city requiring overnight stay
