Animal Control Specialist Dallas

Location: Dallas, Texas

Description: Rollins, Inc is at present recruited Animal Control Specialist Dallas right now, this position will be ordered in Texas. A well established company is hiring self-motivated, career-oriented, and disciplined individuals for p! ositions that focus on controlling pests and wildlife. This position requires someone who enjoys working with people, pests and animals. Our customers call us to remove invasive species from their homes or businesses. Daily our technicians deal with insects, rodents, snakes, foxes, raccoons, squirrels, bats, beavers, birds, etc. We handle everything except bears and alligators over 4 ft. This is a very physical job working outside year round in varying temperatures. You will be climbing ladders, crawling under houses and in attics to do inspections and exclusion work. You will use your excellent communication skills to talk with our customers on the phone and in person, sharing your knowledge and expertise. Every day is different and challenging as you determine the best way to remove, deter and prevent unwanted animals from returning to your customers' homes or businesses.

Required Skills

Must have excellent communication skills.

Must be physical! ly able to carry and climb 32 ft ladders.

Must be org! anized.

After training must be able to work without direct supervision.

Must have a valid, current driver's license.

Must be able to pass a drug screen, background and driving record check.

Four year science related degree strongly preferred.

Military or Sales experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Required Experience

Experience in assisting Customers.

Experience outdoors in varying temperatures.
