Major Duties:
·
Serve as
the focal point for program and Government scheduling issues as they apply to
Earned Value Management (EVM) implementation and contractual requirements.
·
Develop
plans, in the larger framework established by the supervisor or team leader,
for the review and validation of program schedules as they pertain to
implemented EVMS used by major defense suppliers at the various Contract
Management Offices (CMOs) within DCMA and other Government organizations.
·
In
conjunction with the Product Lead or Team Leader, coordinates the development
and presentation of management orientation seminars for program management
offices and other team personnel.
·
Analyze
often address complex issues that range from having a potential impact on
projects individually o! r Service-wide to having national importance.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Specialized experience: To qualify at
the GS-12 grade level, applicants must possess one year of specialized
experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (GS-11). Specialized
experience is defined as: experience conducting Earned Value Management System
(EVMS) audits and analyzing contractor EVMS cost and schedule performance data.
Specialized experience: To qualify at
the GS-13 grade level, applicants must possess one year of specialized
experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (GS-12). Specialized
experience is defined as: Experience conducting Earned Value Management System
(EVMS) audits, analyzing contractor EVMS cost and schedule performance data and
performing cost performance reporting and management oriented audits in order
to evaluate the application of performance measurement syste! ms.

BASIC EDUCATION REQUIREMENT (OPERATIONS RESEARCH SERIES):
Degree: in operations research; or at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject-matter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level mathematics or statistics. At least 3 of the 24 semester hours must have been in calculus.
Only degrees from an accredited college or university recognized by the Department of Education are acceptable to meet positive education requirements or to substitute education for experience.
