MarketSource, Inc. is searching for a Regional Sales Trainer. As a Regional Sales Trainer you will use your training and coachi! ng skills to advise our Target Mobile Sales Force and retail sales personnel on how to sell our clients products & services. You will coach them to increase their performance as sales people, and help them to shift from being product and technology advocates towards being sales drivers. Additionally, you‘ll deliver training directly to our clients Key Partners and other potential audiences.
Tasks
- Participate in Target Mobile's development projects
- Deliver and execute Target Mobile specific training
- Represent Target Mobile during the assignments
- Perform administrative tasks
- Number of training days per training audience
- On time delivery of the scheduled training activities
- Number of field sales force observation visits
- Number of trainings received
- Management of budget and training materials/handsets/agendas
Training skills
- You are ab! le to train (large) groups of persons.
- You have good instructional design skills to structure a learning environment that supports learning of different types of topics (hard and soft skills) and different types of learners
- You can create a structured and appropriate training plan (also to be used by other trainers)
- You can adapt your training method or technique to the individuals’ needs or situational requirements
- You help individual learners attain their objectives
- You can create and maintain a good learning atmosphere/climate
- You master multiple methods to activate people in your training sessions
- You can conduct virtual (on-line) class room sessions
- You are an active listener and possess good questioning skills
- You are an experienced moderator, giving everybody the chance to express themselves
- You can engage people and you can maintain a ! high level of interactivity during the training sessions
- You detect and respond adequately to non-verbal language
- You give precise feedback to participants
- You understand the value of sharing real world examples, cases and experiences as part of your training
- Establishes trust and credibility with people over time; establishes rapport with people; has smooth working relationships with people inside and outside of the organization.
- You translate client product knowledge into consumer needs/benefits/experiences
- You feel at ease in a retail sales environment
- You successfully apply client’s way of selling
- Must be willing to travel up to 75% of the time.
- Minimum of 3 years of training experience in a senior position and/or as a field sales representative.
- Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience.
- A ! proven track record in delivering soft skills training sessions is a mu! st.
- Broad experience in blended training methods and is familiar with online training methods.
- Telecommunications sales experience a plus.
- Proven experience in business process improvement projects and project management strategies is an asset on your resume.
- Proven proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.
