Job Description:
Selected individual to take responsibility for the oversight and delivery of company's programs ! and initiatives by to ensuring full compliance with Corporate EH&S guidelines as well as state, local and federal regulations.Responsibiliies to include contrubution to the design & implementation of Environmental Health and Safety programs that will assist in ensuring both a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Participating in developing and executing strategic environmental health and safety programs Developing, implementing and monitoring training and safety procedures, and managing both internal and external audits in order to help ensure compliance with applicable regulations, and industry standards Partnering with other departments to develop and implement sustainable risk reduction initiatives Driving the continuous improvement of all EH&S related activities Assisting operations personnel in the oversight of drilling, completions, remediation, and plugging and abandonment activitiy Ensuringongoing compliance with ap! propriate regulations and laws Acting as a key point of contac! t with applicable regulatory agencies on compliance issues Ensuring the integrity of all EH&S documentation and providing updates when required Working with employees and supervisors in correcting potential compliance issues Working with the Director of Environmental Regulatory Affairs in ensuring that all data is reported in accordance with regulatory and permit requirements Preparing all reports required by the Residual Waste Management regulations Reponsible for overseeing investiagtions and audtis related to accidents, and recommending strategies for future incident mitigation Providing guidance and leadership to employees and contractors Requirements:
Qualifications Minimum Bachelors Degree, Masters Degree (Environmental Sciences, Safety Management, Loss Management, Engineering, etc) Minimum 7 years of Gas & Oil industry experience 3-5 years supervisory experience in management capacity Job Highlights:
