- To work with the management team to meet the goals set forth for profitability, quality, safety, people development, service to sales.
- Lead th! e siteâs safety program.
- Manage all aspects of 2 nd shift operation.
- Provide leadership and set the expectations with all production, Q.A., maintenance, and warehouse employees and monitor the production / shipping schedule to enable the crew to meet all production and customer service goals.
- Work with the employees, leads, and , management staff to build teams, and ensure cost, quality, service, and people goals are being met.
- Coordinate activities and communication between production employees and mechanics so as to identify all mechanical issues and provide the leadership to get them resolved.
- Provide necessary and effective feedback and coaching to individuals and teams as needed to drive performance.
- Effectively lead the siteâs safety program and ensure all training is kept current.
- Ensure the team is in full compliance with SQF guidelines, co! nduct SQF training, active in implementation of SQF procedures! .
- Assist with scheduling, meet scheduling demands.
- Report Yields, waste, efficiencies via spreadsheets.
- Attend required meetings for quality, customer service and major business.
- Ensure sanitation is completed in an effective, safe and timely manner.
- Utilizing the siteâs Continuous Improvement Process, effectively conduct b-weekly performance team meetings.
- Monitor and order supplies as needed.
- Utilizing Oracle accurately report month ending inventories.
- And any other duties assigned by Facility Manager
- Ownership of the siteâs safety program / safety committee.
- Ensure all training across site is kept current.
- Ensure all safety rules are being followed.
- Ensure no unsafe conditions exist in the facility. If so, take necessary action.
- Ensure all employee safety training is conducted ! in a timely and effective manner.
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
