Senior Public Relations Manager â€" Supports and coordinates local and state
media relations efforts , including pitching stories and securing positive
coverage; writing and editing ! news releases and speeches; and responding to and
developing answers to media inquiries. Promotes the company brand, network,
reputation and innovation
efforts with both consumer and business media. Assists local leadership with
media relations for marketing and sponsorship activities and provides
strategic counsel on managing company's brand and reputation. Develops and
maintains strong relationships with all types of local and state media
outlets, including print, broadcast, online and social media
Job Description:
Media Relations Manager
5 years corporate communications experience with emphasis on all media facets
Experience in pitching business & consumer stories to media and executing
public relations plans
Strategic Marketing/Branding, event planning, Project management, previous
Agency/Corp, Graphics
Experienced user of SharePoint and Microsoft suite
Previous Industry analyst relations experi! ence preferred

Will support and monitor Social Media:
o 2 contractors: Weekday Evenings (CT): 8:00 â€" 10:00 p.m.
o 2 contractors: Saturday â€" Sunday (CT): 10:00 a.m. â€" 12:00 p.m., 5:00 â€"
7:00 p.m.
o Total between all 3 NPWs: 36 hours per week. 12 hours per week per NPW, but
may fluctuate per NPW depending on their schedule.
Must have expert social media skills. Professionalism and expert written and
verbal communication skills.
SKILLS:
Bachelors Degree PR
Experience serving as company spokesperson
Strong knowledge of and interest in social media
Extensive writing Corp Comm, Executives
executing public relations plans
Detail-oriented/meet dealines w/Quality
