Position summary
The Technical Support / Offsite Implementation Consultant (Associate) role is part of a team based in Dallas working with clients globally on support and implementation activities in an offsite capacity.
This role covers duties within 2 teams and as such requires dedicated hours providing support to clients globally as part of the Client Services team, and the remaining portion of the working day dedicated to working as part of the Offsite Implementation team.
The role is dynamic and provides a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong SQL skills to build a solid career solving the data management issues of global top tier financial institutions .
This is not a travelling role and will be solely based i! n the Markit Dallas offices.
Duties & accountabilities
§ The investigation, reproduction and resolution of issues including providing advice to customers on workarounds and fixing bugs.
§ Documenting functional and requirement specifications to define detail input and output, file content, systems functions, system controls and performance criteria.
§ Configuring the Markit EDM application to meet the client specifications.
§ Testing the project deliverables ensuring they are in line with documented requirements.
§ Interacting with clients and colleagues to ensure accurate and timely information flows.
§ Making recommendations for implementation of new systems and technologies where appropriate.

University Degree (2:1) or equivalent

Proficiency in S! QL is essential
