The Police Officer is a sworn member of the Baylor Health Care System Department of Public Safety and is responsible for a varie! ty of customer service, security, and law enforcement related duties. Duties include: providing information and assistance to patients, visitors, employees, and staff; patrolling areas to detect security, safety and/or fire hazards; securing buildings; enforcing parking regulations; controlling access to buildings and parking lots; responding to calls for service; and enforcing state laws as necessary.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications At least 21 years of age. 60 hours of college (GPA >/= 2.0) or 45 hours of college (GPA >/= 2.00) and 2 years full-time military/civilian police experience. TCLEOSE license required Good moral character. Good interpersonal and public relation skills. Ability to react well in stressful situations. No Felony or Class A Misdemeanor convictions. No Class B Misdemeanor convictions in the last 10 years. Valid driver license with good driving record. Ability to undergo a thorough background investigation. Willing and able to work ! any shift and several locations throughout the DFW Metroplex. ! Possess the ability to lift, stand, push, pull, twist and/or climb for long period of time with or without accommodation. Possess basic computer skills. Ability to pass post job offer physical (including drug screening and vision testing) and psychological evaluation.
