Facilities Technician

Location: Dallas, Texas

GENERAL FUNCTION: Responsible for day to day support of the corporate facility at the direction of the Facility Manager and Chief Engineer.

TYPICAL DUTIES:!
Facilities Management

Responsible for proactive support of the facility through daily building walkthroughs. Documenting and correcting issues prior to customer complaint.

Light electrical work. Changing lamps and ballasts as needed.

Light plumbing work. Unclogging drain lines and toilets.

Moving employees and furniture as needed.

Setups of conference space for events.

Assisting in the receiving of boxes and equipment as needed.

Monitoring supplies and requesting replenishment through Chief Engineer

Troubleshooting HVAC issues as needed and requesting support through Chief Engineer or vendors when necessary.

Performing preventative maintenance on building systems, including filter changes for HVAC, water filtration systems, etc.

Makes signage and keys as needed.

Required Skills

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Experience with various hand tools !

Experience with light construction and building furni! ture.

Certification as Technician Type Universal (preferred)

Working knowledge HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pneumatic and digital EMS controls.

Excellent verbal communication skills

Ability to work professionally with all levels of the organization

Required Experience

High School Diploma

3+ years experience in facilities maintenance experience

Drivers license with clean driving record
