Description: GCC Consulting is currently seeking to employ Health Care/Counsel/In House/Dallas, Texas right now, this career will be assigned in Texas. Counsel The candidate will provide primary legal support to Medicaid health plans in the Central Plains Medicaid region (currently consisting of multiple M! edicaid managed care plans in Missouri, Nebraska and Texas). Responsibilities include: partnering with senior management of company's Medicaid Business; advising clients with respect to the application of state and federal law; representing the company and/or its customers with federal and state regulators and enforcement agencies; managing and directing services of outside counsel and other advisers; negotiating contracts or other undertakings on behalf of the company with state and federal agencies and other customers; and protecting and promoting the interests of the company, its shareholders and customers.
The candidate should have a J.D. degree. Must have 10+ years of experience with government programs (including Medicaid) and ideally experience in Missouri and/or Texas. License to practice law is required.
