Outsourcing Center, an online educational and research publication seeks an experienced Senior Business and Research Writer who has substantial expertise writing on the topic of outsourcing. Successful candidate has a d! eep understanding of ITO and BPO and industry trends. Must be a skilled wordsmith who can fluctuate with the demands of writing outsourcing case studies, trend articles and executive research-type papers. Must have proven ability to conduct research and summarize findings as well as interpret business benefits.

SCOPE OF POSITION:
Responsible for writing and editing accurate and appropriate articles, case studies and research white papers for a variety of outsourcing-related target audiences focusing on the trends, benefits and business impact of outsourcing with high standards of relevance and accuracy. This is a contract position.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Research, identify resources, interview, develop, write and edit articles, case studies and research white papers for appropriate ! target audience and media.
Conduct C-level interviews! for topic content
Research article ideas and present for approval
Identify sources for article/paper idea â€" schedule and conduct interviews in a professional manner
Work with internal and external customers to gather information and develop appropriate content to achieve customer goals
Interpret data in meaningful and easy-to-understand way
Demonstrate active knowledge of the outsourcing industry
Be self-disciplined in time management and meeting deadlines
Maintain high level of confidence and professionalism
Be proficient in Microsoft Office
Complete assignments and guarantee timely output of the highest quality for each project
Conduct specialized research requests and handle various other special projects as needed
Maintain a familiarity with Outsourcing Center’s initiatives and contract deliverables
Ensure all activities address designated performance goals a! nd the appropriate target audience and are performed within the designated time frame
Adhere to format, content, and style guidelines, giving consideration to usability and ensuring accuracy, consistency and quality
Maintain editorial/communication mission
Communicate needs and requests to other team members as appropriate
