Manufacturing Engineer/CNC.! Our west client is seeking a direct hire CNC MANUFACTURING ENGINEER with working knowledge in CNC Mill and Lathe setup and operation. Qualified candidates will also possess some supervisory or project management experience and strong shop floor experience/knowledge.
The Engineer will participate in the selection of CNC machine equipement, provide guidance on line set-ups and technical expertize to manufacturing.
Duties will include but not limited to the following:
Back up CNC Programming for Milling and Turning
Tooling organization and inventory management
Monitor projects for improved productivity as assigned
CAD drawings as assigned (AutoCAD, Solidworks desired)
CAD/CAM experience (SmartCAM)
Strong problem solving skills
Assist with continuous improvement projects as part of a team
