! Radiology Charge Information Audit Specialist
. The i! deal candidate will have demonstrated success in the following areas:
The Radiology Charge/Reconciliation/Audit Specialist reviews Interventional Radiology procedure records and other invasive and non-invasive radiology medical records. The Radiology Charge/Reconciliation/Audit Specialist enters procedure codes into the coding/abstract system as appropriate. The coder utilizes Physician’s Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) coding systems and other coding references to ensure accurate coding. The Radiology Charge/Reconciliation/Audit Specialist advises other modalities within radiology of proper coding, collaborates with financial counseling on estimates, reconciles charge reports, performs audits as required, and performs other duties as assigned.

Education:
High School Diploma required
Certification / Registration
required
: CCA, CCS, RHIT, RHIA or CPC-H
Experience:
2+ years of coding experience
required
Radiology coding experience within a hospital setting strongly preferred
