This job posting is for the position responsible for covering the US So! uth Central (Dallas, TX) region.
Mitel is looking for talented salespeople to round out a new team of Contact Center Sales Managers within the Americas. Reporting to the VP of Contact Center Sales,
the successful candidate(s) will work within a regional team of direct and indirect sellers to achieve CC revenue goals.
Responsible for driving and supporting sales of Mitelâs Contact Center (CC) Solutions through the field sales force and business partner community.
Key activities include;
- Working closely with the Regional Director/VP to meet Contact Center goals / revenue targets
- CC market development
- Direct sales team support and guidance
- Partner manager support and guidance
- Channel support and enablement
- Be subject matter expert on all of Mitelâs CC portfolio
- Training and enablement of sales and partner teams on cur! rent CC capabilities, solution positioning and discovery techn! iques
- Participating in sales pursuits to do:
- Solution positioning
- Advanced demonstrations
- Client discovery
- Maintaining a territory CC pipeline and report it through to CC business unit
- Preparation and execution of local sales programs to target existing and new CC customers
- Development of regional CC references
- Participate in and manage CC centric bid responses
- Five (5) years of previous Accounts Selling of high technology software solutions (advanced applications, CPE Networking, and/or VOiP)
- Proven track record of success against quarter and annual based sales compensation plans
- Proven success driving sales within a regional sales team
- Knowledge or experience with Nortel, Avaya, Cisco, ShoreTel or NEC products is a definite plus
- Bachelorâs degree in business or a related field
- Must possess strong sales and accou! nt management skills.
- Proven ability to build and develop relationships with channel business partners.
- Able to accurately forecast business and meet or exceed assigned quotas
- Understands the business elements supporting indirect sales and service business
- Organized, highly self-managed and self-starting
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, selling skills, presentation skills, and time management skills are essential
- Creative with business planning and implementing sales initiatives
- Customer focused (internal & external) and responsive to customer
- Bachelorâs degree in business or a related field
- Clean driving record required
