The duties and function of the Clinical Outcomes Coordinator include data collection, assessment, analysis and reporting of clinical outcomes in patients populations and assigned service specialties. The coordinator will be responsible for medical staff meetings related to peer review, reporting and management using quality management software. The coordinator provides support and facilitation of quality and improvement efforts using scientific process, clinical data sources, comparison to benchmarks and national standards. The coordinator will be involved in reporting to administration, staff and physicians in a variety of clinical settings. The Clinical Outcomes Coordinator should possess clinical expertise and knowledge of case review, quality/ performance metrics, analysis and reporting.
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, he! althcare or related field required. Three to five years clinic! al experience required, 2-3 years in quality management preferred. Master's degree preferred. Certification in specialty area by nationally recognize accrediting body preferred (e.g., CPHQ).
