More details about this vacancy opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. Stress Liaison position supporting the Jefferson St./Red Oak Site for Military and/or Commercial Programs.
Responsibilities:
Perform classical and finite element model (FEM) structur! al analysis to support
withholding tag disposition of non-conforming metallic and non-metallic (composite)
materials. Responsible for technical compliance to all structural integrity contractual
requirements. Repair development criteria may include durability, damage tolerance,
and dynamics analysis / evaluations.
Proficiency with MSC PATRAN / NASTRAN and Pro-Engineer MECHANICA modeling
applications required. Documentation of structural analysis requires proficiency with all
MS Office software applications.
Position requires sound engineering judgment, excellent communication skills, and the
ability to interface constructively and effectively in a dynamic team environment. Must
have the ability to work on complex technical problems in an independent manner and
provide solutions which are innovative.
Qualifications:
Must have six years structures engineering experience with a Bachelors degree in
Engineering-! Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Civil.
Prior MRB-Stress Liais! on experience preferred or basic familiarity with aerospace
Material Review Board (MRB) processes and production shop floor practices desirable.
Must have proficiency with MSC PATRAN / NASTRAN and Pro-Engineer MECHANICA
modeling applications.
