Human Resources Director
Location: Dallas, TX
Contributes to the strategic development of the Human Resources function by working with the V! ice President of Human Resources to develop progressive, business focused HR policies and processes that meets the current and future needs of the organization and establishes a customer focused HR team As a senior member of the HR team, participates and/or leads committees and teams dealing with a wide range of human resources topics and initiatives. Responsible for the effective performance of Human Resources functions especially in Staffing, Affirmative Action, Legal Compliance, and employee relations. Develops and Drives the Recruiting and Employment process ensuring legal compliance by hiring managers, including recruitment, selection and on-boarding. Identifies and implements an Applicant Tracking System Ensures all compliance reports and AAP are completed on time Works directly with management to assist with policy and employee relations issues. Develops HR policies that serve the interests of the company and all employees and ensures that all changes in HR policy ar! e communicated to the firm Maintains knowledge of industry tre! nds and employment legislation and insures company compliance Responsible for firm compliance with Federal and State legislation pertaining to all HR matters including FMLA Supervises staff in the Human Resources Department. Effectively guides Human Resources personnel, ensuring optimal performance. Responsible for HRIS system (Workday) and its effective utilization Responsible for all benefit programs including insurance, disability, 401k, FMLA and COBRA Coordinates and or conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separation Develop and establishes an International HR strategy Establishes effective retention and recognition programs
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field. Master's degree preferred PHR, SPHR. If not, must obtain within 12 months of employment Minimum of ten years HR generalist experience; strong emphasis on recruitment, staffing, legal compliance and employee relations At least 5 years mana! gement experience Ability to manage multiple priorities Experience working in a Professional Services organization Demonstrated ability to implement structure and process in a flexible culture Expert knowledge and experience in Employee Relations is required. Familiarity with HRIS functions (experience with Workday preferred)
