Global Customer Operations (GCO) is seeking an out! standing analytical leader for the role of Manager, Business A! nalytics reporting to the Director of GCO Analytics. This role manages a 3+ person team responsible for global business analytics and insight for our Hotels line of business. GCO Analytics focus goes well beyond pulling data and crunching numbers - it&'s tackling complex business problems that will significantly influence and challenge decisions throughout the business, by converting raw data into meaningful and actionable business analysis and insights. You and your team will partner with internal customers, structure the problems, extract and analyze the data and present the findings and recommendations directly to our business and leadership teams.
Responsibilities :
- Lead a team of yourself plus 3+ analysts performing analyses such as: customer segmentation, ROI modeling, lifetime value analysis, predictive modeling, cross channel analysis, survey design and analysis, and others
- Establish relationships at the senior partner/client le! vel
- Create measurement strategies, learning agendas and roadmaps with input from internal stakeholders
- Package deliverables in an articulate and easy-to-understand fashion with a clear storyline that addresses client business needs
- Understand the clientâs business, develop innovative approaches to solve their questions and present deliverables in a compelling manner that articulates their business value and impact
- Maintain positive, collaborative partnerships with key internal stakeholders and clients
- Exhibit strong analytical, project management, storytelling and communication skills
- Define, develop and execute an analytics strategy for the Hotels line of business
- Influence and challenge decision making throughout the business with rigorous and insightful analysis and modeling, including significant exposure to the Hotels Leadership Team
- Conduct resource planning, development and guidance of team mem! bers
- Contribute to the success of other team members by provid! ing training to others in areas such as client analytics, direct marketing, experimental design, etc.
- 7 + years of hands on analytics experience
- 5+ years of people management experience
- Masterâs or advanced degree in quantitative studies (Ph.D a plus). The equivalent combination of education, training and work experience may be suitable
- Expert at a variety of statistical approaches that must include some of the following: regression models, logit and probit models, cluster analysis, factor analysis, survival analysis, time series analysis, hierarchical modeling or other advanced methods
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Excel, PPT and some analytics tool (SAS, SPSS, R, STATA, etc.) required, Tableau a plus
- Experience working with large datasets
- Experience in call center operations or call center analytics strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills, both written and ! oral to be able to build and communicate a vision into actionable business insights
- A âcan-doâ attitude and passion for analytics including the insight and value it can provide
- Ability to work with teams remotely
- Excellent verbal, written and data visualization skills required
- Demonstrated ability to learn and acquire new technologies as needed
- Superior problem-solving skills, self-motivation and the capacity to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Demonstrated experience of hands-on approach
- 5+ years of people management experience
- 10+ years of hands on analytics experience
- Masterâs degree in quantitative studies preferred (Ph.D a plus). An MBA with quantitative focus and experience also considered. The equivalent combination of education, training and work experience may be suitable.
