Basic Function:
They are currently looking for a Human Resources Manager . This person will b! e responsible for : P roviding functional support in various a! reas of HR including recruitment and employment, employee and labor relations, job evaluations, wage and salary administration, benefits administration, training, payroll backup and special projects.
The scope of the Human Resources Manager role will include working closely with plant leadership to:
Attract, onboard, culturally integrate, and retain talented people. Lead reward and recognition programs. Assist leadership to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Optimize employee performance through effective coaching and counseling, and by providing appropriate tools or other deliverables. Develop and implement training programs in support of our operations. Create and facilitate employee engagement programs. Assist with the total compensation program development and communication. Proactively manage and administer health, safety and wellness programs. Special projects as assigned.
The background and experience requirements for this position are a! s follows:
- Bachelorâs degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years progressive manufacturing HR experience. Proactive self-starter who is comfortable interacting with employees throughout the plant. Demonstrated ability to influence others via strong relationships, negotiation and analytical skills. HR Generalist experience including employee relations, staffing, compensation, benefits, organizational development and training, information systems, and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated track record of success in recruiting salaried and hourly employees. Demonstrated experience in researching, developing, and implementing HR best practices. Demonstrated success utilizing continuous improvement tools and methodologies to improve business decisions and performance. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to travel (10%) Willingness to relocate domestically in the future
