What will I be doing?
Director PMO plans, directs, and ensures the successful management of our client’s Professional Services engagements utilizing the complete resources of the PMO Office, assigned engineering capabilities and vendors. The Director PMO is responsible for identifying, evaluating and developing methods and procedures that are efficient, effective and meet good business practice. The Director PMO assesses resource loads and makes appropriate individual assignments, manages and mentors the members of the PMO driving organizational effectiveness and accountability. Collaborates with functional areas in the supervision of project personnel, which includes work allocation, training, and problem resolution; evaluates performance and makes recommendations for personnel actions. Advises leadership about the project portfolio, status and resource planning. Human capital management responsibilities include career development, performa! nce management responsibilities.
What Skills do I nee! d?
- 10 to 15 Years with proven track record of successfully leading large/complex projects
- Master's Degree or MBA
- Project Management Institute certification (PMP) a must
- Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, Project Management Software
- Prince2, ITIL Foundation, Six Sigma Green Belt+
- Project budgeting skills
- Proven program management skills; ability to organize and prioritize multiple complex projects
- Proven communication skills; both written and oral with technical and non-technical staff, all levels of management
- Proven team-building skills with technical and non-technical staff
- Proven team leadership skills
- System Integrator or Technology Vendor Experience Preferred
- Interpersonal Skills, Strong Written and Oral Communication Skills, Team Leadership
