C! andidates will be responsible for the underwriting and producing of Commercial Surplus Lines business.
Qualifications:
3 to 5 years of experience underwriting commercial P&C accounts on the carrier or MGA sides of the business.
Experience writing surplus lines accounts is required.
Established relationships with retail brokers in Texas is important
Solid track record for writing new business
College degree and insurance certifications are preferred
Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of products
