Responsibilities

Project Manager

We are seeking an energetic, adaptable, dedicated professional to utilize their experience and tenacity to plan, direct, coordinate or budget generator services. You will assist in both planned and emergency assignments with technicians and suppliers nationwide. We will expect you to participate in the conceptual development of a service/construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, and implementation including but not limited to design, permitting, pre- and post-construction.

Responsibilities:
Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines. D! etermine labor requirements and dispatch workers or subcontrac! tors to sites. Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors. Direct and supervise workers and subcontractors. Select, contract and oversee workers and subcontractors who complete specific pieces of the project such as electrical, mechanical, concrete, masonry and services. Input all tasks that are performed on the Work Order Acknowledgement, discuss with the customer and obtain their signature. Call and schedule, with the customer, all assigned work orders. Perform all needed repairs to power generators and fire pumps. Report work progress to the General Manager on a regular basis. Attend off site meetings and presentations with existing and potential clients throughout the United States as needed (1-3 times per year). On-call 24x7x365 as we are an emergency power service provider.

Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required; College educa! tion preferred; any combination of education and experience which would be likely to produce the required knowledge, skills and abilities. 2-3 years as a generator technician or generator service writer/dispatcher/supervisor. Must have a valid drivers license and clean motor vehicle record. Must be able to pass drug screen. Technically inclined Electronic/Mechanical knowledge with problem solving capabilities. Possess a team player attitude; ability to work with minimal supervision. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint proficient. Ability to prioritize, organize and meet deadlines while multi-tasking. Professional personal presentation. Ability to interface with co-workers and customers through both written and verbal communication.

Mgr. Regional Safety

  • Advise key Regional leaders on all aspects of Safety & Health issues and provide them with guiding principles related to continuous risk reduction for our workforce
  • Seek out and implement new technologies which assist in the identification of workplace hazards, track recommendations, and monitor overall effectiveness
  • Working with other Safety Managers and the Home Services Safety Director, establish key Safety & Health metrics using both leading and lagging performance indicators for review by senior Company leadership
  • Conduct accident investigations and analysis, safety meetings, training cl! asses and audits as needed
