We have an immediate full-time opportunity for a New Business Development Manager to work for an ad agency in Dallas. Reporting to the Director of New Business, this position will facilitate ! and organize prospects that are seeking a new advertising agency partner. The position is expected to help grow sales through the candidate’s existing pool of professional contacts, plus follow up on leads generated by the client’s marketing campaigns and other sources.
POSITION SUMMARY
Present the agency brand and its value proposition to prospects in preferred business verticals
Maintain up-to-date, accurate and informative client call history
Think holistically on business approach, client relations, sales strategies and marketing tactics
Possess the ability to implement best practices with emerging media and traditional print, plus merchandising solutions in retail environments
Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline
Possess an unyielding desire to succeed and contribute to the team
DELIVERABLES
Achieve measurable results with business pipeline prospects, while handing warm leads o! ver to the Director for closing steps
Be accountable ! for marketing internal campaigns and measuring open and/or success rates
Maximize relationships & referrals from existing professional services contacts
Oversees all category activities, such as management changes or business product launches, within the preferred agency verticals
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree required
Minimum 5 years of professional services business development or closely related marketing and communication experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Understanding of advertising, marketing, media, creative, production, research, direct marketing, agency financials and profitability in a small to midsize agency a plus
