Documentation of customer business processes, workflows and requirements as they relate to the issues identified by a development initiative.
Define and document business and system processes as determined by UHC.
Define, document and communicate system requirements, as related to iCES Clearinghouse custom rule development for UHC.
Prioritize and manage business requirements in an effort to minimize scope issues.
Plan and develop simple to complex iCES Clearinghouse rules.
Develop all pertinent test plans.
Review and contribute to overall QC/QA of test plans.
Participate in project teams with the customer (s) to assure high quality through management of ongoing processes.
Assist in troubleshooting of ! technical issues as identified.
Evaluates business require! ments and prepares detailed specifications that follow project guidelines required to develop written programs
Formulates, defines and documents the functional system specifications
Devises or modifies procedures that solve complex business problems with due consideration for hardware/software capacity and limitations, operating times and the desired results
Analyzes and revises existing functional documentation
Generates innovative ideas to resolve problems
Responsible for meeting or exceeding all defined target goals and milestone dates for the project in order to ensure its overall success
Assists in training junior level personnel in technical complexities of assigned work
Strong analytic, technical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Generate innovative ideas to resolve problems.
Customer service focused.
Qualifications:
HS Diploma or GED
2+ years of experience with! healthcare industry, either via direct work in the market (with insurers, hospitals, physicians, etc.) or via technology solutions being sold into the healthcare market.
2 years of working knowledge of Medical Claims and reimbursement policy
1+ year rules engine development experience or equivalent knowledge.
1+ year of user acceptance testing experience or equivalent knowledge.
1+ year of experience managing projects or equivalent knowledge.
Preferred Assets:
Experience with Unix, SQL, Oracle, and/or automated testing tools.
Defect analysis and triage experience
Experience with iCES or other medical reimbursement application
