DUTIES:

  • Provide excellent customer service and address needs of customers in a timely and effective manner. Follow all Whole Foods Market (WFM) guidelines for meeting customer needs.

  • Maintain visual quality and consistency for all departments.

  • Follow and comply with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and adhere to safe work practices.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Previous experience as a sign maker or assistant sign maker, or equivalent.

  • Working knowledge of the Macintosh computer operating system.
  • Good problem solving skills, and ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Superior spelling skills and ability to perform simple math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Ability to deliver information in a clear and respectable manner to fellow team members, customers and vendors.
  • Ability to complete all tasks in a thorough and timely manner.
  • Working understanding of and compliance with all WFM quality goals, and thorough product knowledge.

Essential Job Functions: Stand and walk for extended periods of time.

In Dallas, TX we are currently seeking a Print Shop Manager / Assistant Manager with at least 3+ years experience in large and small format color and B/W digital print output. Knowledge with HP, Xerox and Adobe Creative Suite applications is required.

Primary responsibility is to manage all in-house print production for our customer. FM Associate works for us from within our customers office. This task includes printing and binding jobs on-demand from digital files and hard copies as well as coordinating all overflow print jobs with our local ABC Imaging print shops.

Clarify scope of job with client (including any special requirements)! . If job is to be produced off-site at ABC shop, obtain accura! te billing and project specifications from client. Coordinate with ABC Shop and follow up with client upon completion/delivery. Ensure that all printing and binding equipment is being properly maintained and upgraded. Recommend new acquisitions that will increases productivity. Manage all administrative responsibilities to meet requirement (Meter Readers, Time Reporting, and Equipment Maintenance Management). Check accuracy of billing (verify pre-work order, pre-billing, and final billing files) and help resolve billing issues on all jobs. Assist sales department with accounts by sharing new information, contacting clients, visiting their clients and hosting and attending seminars and events. Participate in the Annual Client Partnership Review and Strategic Plan meeting. Keep the FM Operations Procedure Manual updated. Keep the site clean and organized. Communicate on regular basis with FM Division Operations Manager regarding client concerns. Introduce innovative support i! deas and follow-up on unsettled issues.

Qualifications

Extensive experience with Digital Printing and bindery processes. Strong familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite Particularly In Design Superior customer service ability and experience in handling client both over the phone and in person. Ability to work independently and proactively in fulfilling customer needs. Ability to speak knowledgeably about department capability and company to potential and existing clients Highly developed organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining focus. Positive attitude towards daily work, co-workers, and clients. Ability to troubleshoot software/hardware problems.
