We are looking to hire a Warehouse Agent to help process shipments in a safe and accurate manner, ensuring operational excellence, high productivity and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Acknowledge receipt/delivery of freight by signing the relevant documents and stating any irregularities, if applicable

Issue warehouse receipt and distribute along with other documents to the operational departments

Assign location of freight, based on its nature

Keep record of shipments by enteri! ng data in the application (if available)

Take weight! and measurements upon receipt of freight

Load/unload consignments and compare freight with documents to avoid any discrepancies

Assure accurate labeling of freight by double-checking that marks on freight and warehouse receipt number correspond to the transport document

Operate all equipment by keeping the safety of the personnel and freight in mind

Report hazardous cargo and any irregularities (damages, pilferage, 'short' conditions) immediately to supervisor

File, store and keep record of whereabouts of the operational files

Keep warehouse neat, clean and organized

Advise supervisor immediately of any equipment failure

Advise supervisor of need to re-order supplies in due time

Assure that complete documentation accompanies freight leaving the dock and that documents for freight received are handed over to the corresponding department

Assure proper storage and handling of freight, in! cluding, but not limited to, making sure that pallets are stable and in good condition

Qualifications

Good judgment skills and ability to make decisions

Team player

Proficient in Panalpina warehouse applications (if available)

Certified forklift operator

Qualifications:
HS Diploma or GED
2+ years of experience with! healthcare industry, either via direct work in the market (with insurers, hospitals, physicians, etc.) or via technology solutions being sold into the healthcare market.
2 years of working knowledge of Medical Claims and reimbursement policy
1+ year rules engine development experience or equivalent knowledge.
1+ year of user acceptance testing experience or equivalent knowledge.
1+ year of experience managing projects or equivalent knowledge.

Preferred Assets:
Experience with Unix, SQL, Oracle, and/or automated testing tools.
Defect analysis and triage experience
Experience with iCES or other medical reimbursement application

The nursing home/skilled nursing facility based Advanced Provider works in conjunction with physicians in skilled nursing facilities to ensure patients are appropriately managed in the sub-acute and/or long-term care setting. The Practitioner will provide direct (hands-on) care in nursing homes/skilled facilities with a goal to improve quality and prevent unnecessary re-admissions to the acute care setting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Include the following; however other duties may be assigned:
Evaluates patient, performs comprehensive physical examination, and gathers patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination.

Responsible for the treatment of members in the nursing home and skilled nursing facility settings.

Performs comprehens! ive SNF assessment to include psychosocial factors (when appli! cable) identifying the anticipated short-term and long-term needs of the member.

Identifies and refers members into appropriate disease and case management programs.

Identifies the need for hospice care as appropriate in the “terminal period” of chronic diseases.

Refers appropriate members to case managers for hospice program election or to be designated as a “Potential Hospice” candidate and monitored for decline.

This provider collaborates with the physicians for all patient related responsibilities and deals directly with skilled nursing facility staff members to coordinate patient care requirements.

Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, ! SKILLS, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS:

Education: Graduation from a physician assistant educational program, accredited by the Accreditation Review Committee on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARCPA) AND successful completion of the National Commission of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) examination; must maintain status as a certified physician assistant, including completion of all requirements for continuing medical education (CME) and re-certification.

Experience and Skills: Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in acute care hospitals and or discharge planning. Familiarity with computer and ability to use Word.

Certificates/Licenses/and/or Registrations, etc..: Physician Assistant certification in the state that the will practice

Other Requirements: Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills. Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility and c! ooperation in performing job responsibilities. Reliable transportation, current driver’s License, and current auto insurance. TB test, new hire and State requirements for position.
